After this, debris and stones are removed from the final product which is scrutinized by hand for quality. Once it cools down, it’s time for the packaging process to start.

However, the roaster’s job does not end at just heating a bucketful of coffee beans over a fire! He has to plan out the roasting cycle because newly roasted coffee beans stay fresh for less than a month.

Also, the roasting process usually takes around 20 minutes, during which a lot of chemical reactions take place. So, the roaster has to keep a lot of factors in mind while at work, such as temperature and humidity changes, airflow levels, and the time duration.
