Sweet, nut-toned. Hazelnut, gardenia, fresh-cut cedar, caramel, pear in aroma and cup. Crisp, delicate acidity; light, satiny mouthfeel. The richly round finish consolidates around cedar and caramel in the short; hazelnut resurfaces in the gently drying long.
San Francisco is a coop integrated by 40 small producer families located in San Francisco, Tarrazu. This region has extremely mountainous terrain, high elevations and some of the best growing conditions for coffee in Central America. Worldwide known, Tarrazu is a region of Costa Rica featured by its rich, sweet nut-toned, crisp and delicate acidity coffees. Mainly the varieties cultivated there are caturra and catuaí.
Well, if you consider that one of the best coffees that you have tasted in your life were from Costa Rica, the most probably it was a Tarrazu's. In fact this is the reason why our San Francisco is one of our all time favourites and the same holds true for our customers.
