ESPIRITU SAN LUIS, West Valley - Costa Rica

Cerro San Luis is a micromill run by the two brothers Magali and Alexander Delgado. Along with their families, they cultivate coffee in the third generation. They have their own two farms between 1500 masl and 1700 masl, where they grow various varieties like Caturra, Catuaí, Geisha, SL28, and Villa Sarchí. 

The family's farms are adjacent to one another, but the plots are given separate names for lot separation purposes, and the mill is located at the family home, just a few miles away.

After harvesting, the cherry is brought right to the family home, where they are able to do a variety of different processes, from washed and honeys to natural. As is common at mills in Costa Rica, at Cerro San Luis the type of honey is decided by how much mucilage is left on the coffee after depulping.

• All our coffee is packed in 200g, 500g or 1kg foil-lined and valved bags.
• All our coffees are roasted to order so we require at least one working day before we can dispatch your order.
