Group of coffee farmers Las Nubes
Hazelnuts, orange sweetness, smooth chocolate
Las Nubes comes from a small coffee farmers' community from Jinotega. Las Nubes initially gathered the smallest screen-size beans from their coffees however nowadays they are cultivating other varieties as this Java which is made up of individually processed lots that have come together to offer a truly unique community blend. As these beans have undergone the same meticulous care and farming methods as the producers' micro-lots, the community wanted to create a brand in order to sell these beans to specialty markets, where they definitely belong. Even though the lots are sold under the same name - Las Nubes, they are still processed separately to ensure proper traceability.
Las Nubes means the clouds and the coffees come from the foggy mountains of Cordillera Isabelia. This cordillera is one of the first regions that started with large productions of coffee and most of the farmers there still conserve traditional production techniques.
