BANKILAL, Chiapas - Mexico

Sourced from the Los Altos de Chiapas region, this coffee is cultivated by the Tzeltal indigenous communities at high altitudes, renowned for producing exceptional quality.  The name "Bankilal" honours a respected figure in Tzeltal culture, symbolising community care and selfless responsibility.

With a history dating back over a century, coffee cultivation is deeply rooted in the traditions of Los Altos.  Originally brought from Soconusco, coffee plants were integrated into family gardens and later expanded to larger plots. This dedication to preserving their coffee heritage results in a unique and flavourful cup.
