The Chemex is as much a pleasure to look at as it is to brew with, the glass pour-over people leave out on the counter because it’s too good to put away. This Christmas, we’ve put everything in one bundle: the 3-cup brewer, 200g of roaster’s choice, and a box of 100 paper filters.

    Our Approach

At Coffee Gems, we seek out coffees that tell a story—of place, process, and passion. We work closely with producers who share our dedication to quality, selecting beans that showcase the best of their origins.

Roasting is our craft, where we fine-tune each batch to highlight its unique character. Our goal is simple: clarity, balance, and a true expression of the coffee’s journey.

For us, coffee is more than a drink, it’s an exploration. And we invite you to discover it with us.

    Why Gift Coffee Gems

Specialty starts at 80. Our single origins start at 86.
Coffee is considered specialty when it scores 80 or above on the SCA scale. Every one of our single origins scores 86 or above, which puts it in the top 1% of coffee in the world. No other roaster in the UK does that.

We’re proud members of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE). That means you’re buying from a roaster that’s part of the global community raising the standard of coffee, and one that cares about quality at every step, from the farm to your cup.

Sustainability runs through all of it. We source from farmers who use eco-friendly practices, and everything we send is packed in compostable bags and recyclable boxes.
